Just returned from a few days at the Four Season with my son. Overall it was a great trip and the hotel is doing great with all of the new Covid protocols. We previously visited the hotel a few years ago and the same great service from the staff is still there. Pros: - hotel allows you to park your own car right now (typically only valet) - all staff wear masks all the time - temperature check at check in - hand sanitizer throughout the hotel, including the elevator - one family per elevator (never had to wait more than a few minutes) - staff always wanting to help - shuttle service available to take you into the village (didn’t use it but nice that it was there) Cons: - pool was pretty dirty and never saw anyone cleaning it. We went both first thing in the morning and in the evening and didn’t seem to make a difference - drink service at the pool was pretty slow. I walked up to the cabana to order (no line) and it took 15 mins to get a drink brought to me that came in a can. This might be because of Covid rules but was a bit confused why they couldn’t just hand me the cab right there? Due to Covid the pool has a 60 person capacity. When I booked I sent the hotel a message asking if there was a time limit per guest. At the time they said no, however, when we checked in we were told there was a 3 hour limit when it’s busy. Totally understandable that they had to impose it but a bit disappointing as we had asked ahead of time. The wait list is a first come first served approach and you can’t book time ahead so it makes it a bit difficult to plan ahead. We managed to go right at 7:30am and stay until 11 or so, and then get back in around 5:30pm. I overheard a few people complaining to staff about not getting in at all during the day because they showed up too late to get on the wait list. Perhaps the hotel could do time bookings when you check in? Just a suggestion! Overall I felt that the hotel is doing their best with the current situation and we will return again next year. We spent a weekend at the Four Seasons in Whistler recently. We had small children, grandparents and a dog! Bear in mind, we stayed during the COVID pandemic restrictions, so certain services were limited at the hotel. First off - the hotel was great! Comfortable rooms, nicely furnished room and the hotel is VERY pet friendly! They even left us a dog bowl and food in our room! The valets were very pet friendly too! I was surprised that the lobby was pretty small and their outdoor swimming pool was small too, but otherwise, their service was extra-ordinary! The valets were particularly helpful every day! They made parking extremely easy and perhaps it is during this pandemic, but I just parked up on the side walk everyday! Very easy to access your car! It was a very nice 10min walk to the village, so access to the village was easy. The only small things to note from my experience was that: 1. With COVID, there was no daily room cleaning. We didn't mind that, but after day 2-3 without a room cleaning, the garbage started to pile up and the pillows were flat a bit. But the room service provided extra toilettries, picked up garbage or anything else we needed. We did pay for the service for staying at a 5 star hotel and we didn't receive it during this stay - not to any fault of the hotel, but just related to pandemic restrictions and social distancing. 2. It is a short walk to the village, but if you wanted to pop out to pick up food - we had to drive to the village or else it would have been 15-20min walk to the village (and back another 15-20mins) to pick up take out. If you want extremely easy access to restaurants, consider staying right in the village. 3. With COVID - half of their exercise room equipment was taped off and you had to make a reservation to use the pool. Again - not the fault of the hotel, but due to COVID restrictions. 4. Their pool was a bit on the small side. 5. This is a 5 star hotel, so things are not on the cheap side. An order in breakfast through room service can be pricey. Overall - highly recommend this 5 star hotel Service is excellent, very pet and children friendly. Great location (not too close to the village so it is very quiet, but close enough to walk) Read less

Understandably, the pool was full to Covid capacity in the daytime, but we had the hot tub to ourselves in the evenings. Bathroom was well appointed (separate deep tub and shower), double sinks and pre-stocked with extra shampoo/conditioner so we did not have to request extra during our stay. Appreciated the complimentary wine tastings in the afternoon. Beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa. Very good value for the quality and service here. Hope to be back soon! Read less

First surprise, an upgrade! My friend and I also stayed here in early June (as soon as we were allowed), so I booked the same beautiful panorama two bedroom suite for the return trip, and Four Seasons bumped us up to the 2 bedroom with den that boasts a PRIVATE JACUZZI!!! This made a huge difference to us, because we likely would have passed on the public pool/jacuzzis so the families could enjoy them - they need it more than we do. (But they have safety measures in place) The kitchen was a great space, the balcony was lovely to spend time on and the beds were as cozy as they get. I felt confident with the safety measures they have in place for the full property - which hadn’t slipped from June to July and all staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there. It’s the best time to take advantage of BC travel, while we shouldn’t go anywhere else, and I hope to be back before year end! Read less
