Where is it

In the hubbub of Havana’s elegant old city, surrounded by its picture-postcard UNESCO World Heritage sites, this hotel has a direct view of the Capitol and Great Theater of Havana, and overlooks Bar Floridita, where Hemingway used to drink. It’s also 10 minutes’ drive from Castillo del Morro. Transfer time from Havana Airport: 35 minutes.

Junior Suite Constante is a corner suite overlooking the city, and boasts a separate living area, 3 large French doors/windows, walk-in closet and large bathroom with rain shower, bathtub and 2 sinks. With 1 king-size bed, 1 extra bed allowed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Patio Suites have courtyard views, large living room with separate dining table, and large bathroom, with 1 king-size bed, 1 extra bed allowed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Suite Mezzanines are two-level suites, overlooking the old city. Downstairs there's a large sitting area and the bathroom complete with rain shower, and upstairs is the bedroom plus an additional larger bathroom with shower and bathtub, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Suite Esquina are large corner suites, overlooking the old town. There is a large living room with separate dining table and 3 large French doors/windows, large bathroom with rain shower, Jacuzzi bathtub and 2 sinks. Fantastic place to enjoy a drink or even delicious food (Pizzas like in Italy). The staff (special thanks to Catarina?) is doing a great job. By the second visit they even remembered my favorite beer! The view at sunset are amazing towards Havana Centro and El Malecon. At night the Capitolio and theater look great.

Awesome view and the service Is incredible! Our server Pirez was extremly attentive and disponible. Best seat in Cuba Pool and drinks perfect on the afternoon. Wonderful, friendly helpful staff , lovely rooms and great attention to detail. An ideal rooftop swimming pool and Spa with an all day restaurant to the side, giving an excellent menu choice. Comfort is provided in every area.

It is an expensive hotel but it is the hotel you would want to be if travel in style is what you have in mind. It is centrally located, with walking distance to both Old Havana and Central Havana. Services are good. I booked an early morning tour on one of the days, they actually offered me in-room dining for breakfast as the restaurant was not open yet. Having a mojito at its rooftop poolside bar during sunset was certainly a one-of-a-life-time experience. Not too many options for breakfast and the lobby looks a bit simple comparing to the rest of the hotel, free wifi definitely made it all up (although you do need to type an extremely complicated password every time you got logged out). In short, it is definitely one of the very best hotels in Havana. Read less
