Lequavis and Michael were such a good beach team. They were very accommodating and they made sure we had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect weather and such a good day. Already planned a trip back for September.

Maybe I formulated an opinion before arriving after talking to the Wedding/Event Manager. My small wedding wasn’t grand enough or even important enough for a return call. Maybe I formulated an opinion before arriving after talking to the Wedding/Event Manager. My small wedding wasn’t grand enough or even important enough for a return call. I wanted a small intimate wedding and the manager’s voice immediately changed and he rushed me off the phone. Sadly enough he didn’t know what our budget was and how special we wanted to make it. He heard small and wrote me off after that. My husband and I found another location in Miami and they made it absolutely amazing for us! I wish we would have stayed elsewhere. The hotel is dated. The decor is horrid. The only highlight was Jewell at the front desk. He was amazing, super attentive and nice. That’s it. Won’t be back. Read less

A lot of my experience at this hotel was very hit or miss. Sometimes things were fine, and other times I couldn’t believe they charge what they charge for what you actually get. On the plus side-the hotel itself is very nice. It has a fun retro Miami vibe and the rooms are cute. The room was small but we were lucky to get a nice ocean view. If you like to workout on vacation, the gym is great. Lots of equipment for a hotel gym and even some outdoor options with a great view. I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and the staff there were always very kind. The pool and beach scene was also fun. Still lively with people having a good time but not a crazy party. The girls who checked us out were also very nice and helpful. The biggest drawback of our long weekend was that of the four days we were there, not once did anyone come to our beach or pool chair to take our order. My friend even tried to wave people down and they almost seemed to ignore her. We had to get everything on our own and still didn’t get great service when we did go to order our own food and drinks. It doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it always put a damper on our beach and pool time, which is most of the reason we came to Miami. It led to us spending less time (and money) at the hotel because it became so frustrating. At check in we got minimal information about the hotel. Half the staff were nice, and the other half seemed inconvenienced to help us. We are globalists so we stay with Hyatt a lot. My favorite thing about the brand is that even at the lower end Houses and Places, I always leave feeling like it was a good experience. Unfortunately at The Confidante nothing seemed special or made me feel welcomed enough to want to go back. It was an average experience for an above average price. Read less
