The Dutch restaurant offers delicious 'roots-inspired' cuisine from chef Andrew Carmellini's tantalising menu. If you’re feeling lively, head on down to Wall, a glitzy ultra-lounge sure to attract the Miami glitterati, open for drinks and dancing until the small hours or Living Room Bar with handcrafted cocktails and DJ spinning (Tues to Sat).

Wonderful Ocean View Studio Suites are on floors 4-8, have 1 king-size bed, seating area, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower only, sleeping maximum 3 adults on a roll-away bed*.

Spectacular Ocean View Studio Suites are as Wonderful Ocean View Studio Suites but on foors 9–19, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Fantastic Ocean View Suites are 1-Bedroom Suites with living and dining area and on all floors, sleeping maximum 3 adults on a roll-away bed*.

Oasis Ocean View Suites have 1 bedroom with king-size bed, separate living/media room with queen-size sofa bed, dining table, 3TV's, and a full kitchen with washer/dryer, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Sanctuary Ocean View Suites are on select floors, with 2 bedrooms, 1 king-size bed and 1 queen-size bed, 3 TV's and a kitchenette, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Sensational Ocean View Suites are as per Sanctuary Ocean View Suites but larger and have a queen-size sofa bed and washer/dryer, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Everything was kept very clean and you can see attendants maintaining this while making sure everyone was masked and safe. The pool is first, come first serve for lounge chairs as it gets busy so I advise coming earlier than later. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with the Insider team. I can't thank and say enough about Lisa Heath! She was professional, prompt and was so knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of Miami. Lisa along with Stephen and Rick were what made our stay so memorable! I even moved my flight back so I could stay... just a tiny bit longer ;) see you next time W South Beach! 10/10 Read less

Checked in as a Titanium member but waited in a very long line. Beautiful lobby and nice people but almost all Marriotts have a special check in for rewards members. This was lacking. After we got in the room which was beautiful and very well appointed, a staff member let themselves in (no knock). While extremely apologetic it really throws you off from the start. The room itself is truly amazing which is what makes it all the worse when you have sub par experiences. The critical piece for our anniversary trip was guaranteed access to pool chairs. We called ahead to see if we needed to pay or reserve. The answer was the two chairs were included with our room/status. Just check in at the pool desk to get them. Wrong. They offered to add us to a waitlist which was estimated at a few hours. What a mess. Worse, the pool attendant said this happens all the time and they’ve tried asking the front desk to set the right expectations. Lastly, it’s 2021 and they still allow smoking of cigarettes and cigars anywhere at the pool. When we finally got chairs we get to inhale smoke. The food and Bev options are truly great. Well above average. With the rooms the decor the pool and the food/Bev this place would be easy five stars plus. Unfortunately the very controllable pieces of the experience from the unwelcome room guests to the pool experience mean we won’t be back and we certainly cannot recommend this to others as sad as that is. My husband and I stayed at the W South Beach for 5 nights using points. The property and facilities are amazing (free use of bikes and tennis courts), much better than the Ritz down the street where we stayed for 2 nights after. The room, while well decorated, had paper thin walls and the screaming children next door kept us up all night. Service was disappointing for a 5-star hotel and we encountered a number of issues: 1) upon check in, they offered us breakfast or points since we are ambassador elite Bonvoy members. We chose breakfast and the next morning we went down to the main restaurant for breakfast only to be charged. The restaurant told us that the breakfast included only applies to a continental breakfast ordered in the room. 2) nevertheless they did say that there was a 20% discount on F&B for guests. Yet when we came back for lunch and noticed they had left out the 20% discount on the bill, they told us that the discount only applies to breakfast! 3) upon checkout, there was no one to help me with my bags. It was drizzling and as I stepped out of the awning onto the street, my bags fell and I was struggling for a few minutes in the rain. Finally, someone approached but instead of helping me he asked me to move out of the way because I was blocking a parked car. That said, the pool and beach are great if you don’t mind waiting 5 hours for a chair and people smoking weed around you. Read less

He sets a tone with all of his employees and they are the best.The newly re-decorated rooms are extraordinary. We had a fantastic suit and it was truly fantastic. Absolutely worth it. Our family has taken our last three trips together to the W South Beach because of the amazing service provided by the hotel staff and the experiences and memories they have provided for our family. This trip was our best trip yet and we were once again blow away by all of the staff going "above and beyond" to create the best possible experience. From the great check-in staff who had our room ready early, to the pool employees and servers, to the whole beach staff they never missed a beat. Our room was absolutely stunning and more than we could have imagined...we will talk about our jawdropping views for years! But the most amazing customer service was provied by W Insider, Majd Errais. Majd proactively reached out ahead of our stay to meet our family and ask if we had any special requests. Majd's personal touch made our trip so special as he left us personal cards, a great chocolate snack, offers to meet in person, checked in throughout our stay and accomodated all of our requests. He was always available both before and during our stay! He was an absolutely fantastic ambassador for the W South Beach Team and their top-of-the-line customer service (the best hotel customer service we have ever experienced). I am sure the hotel had many challenges with the large spring break crowds but you would never have known it....they never missed a beat. I also manage our Customer Service Dept at my company and have shared my experience with our team to help us improve. Thanks to Majd's efforts, and all of the great service provied by the entire W staff, we are already planning our next visit to the W South Beach this fall. We cant wait to get back and thank you so much to everyone at the W for making a lifetime trip that our family will always remember! Read less
