We stayed at the Loews Royal Pacific and couldn't have had a better time. Staff was very pleasant and gave us tips on what to do and where to go. The room was spacious. It was very clean and modern. Girls enjoyed the pool.

It had been 11 years since my last stay at RP, and it didn't disappoint. Last stay was really just a place to sleep, but this time I didn't go to the parks and just enjoyed the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. All employees were very pleasant. Nice array of bars and restaurants to choose from. As busy as it was, there were tons of indoor and outdoor nooks with quiet relaxing seating. Pool and pool bar both nice. Decor throughout the hotel was wonderful. Issues: you check-in online with the promise of less wait upon arrival, but no, you stand in the same long line as everyone else whether you did it online or not. A 20 minute wait for water taxi in the middle of the afternoon was a little much. The parking fee is a little out there, even Grand Flo charges less. Lastly, if you want any souvenir that says the name of the hotel on it, it is only available at the gift shop outside by the pool, which closes early. There is a gift shop right inside the lobby, but not one thing with RP name can be bought there. Silly. I got a great FL Resident discount and chose this over Hard Rock for nearly the same rate and am glad I did. It's a great place to stay if the price is right or if you need those front of the line passes. Read less

Although the hotel is lovely and clean and well located, my room experience was poor. No attention to my preference for a high room. In fact we were on the lowest floor as far away from the elevator as possible. Also the room looked directly out onto pool pumps and pipes. Ugly. Numerous calls to desk did not help.

When we arrived at this resort it looked beautiful and smelled amazing. The check-in was a breeze; temperature check as soon as you walk in and sanitizer stations are abundant. It just feels and looks clean. And then it went a bit downhill... We arrived late and my two kids fell asleep immediately. In the morning I found men’s shaved hair on the sink and cleaned it up. Figuring we already slept in the beds so any damage is done. I crossed my fingers and just hoped the rooms were at least clean. A night later I found a woman’s eyeliner on the floor near the window. Normally I would say something but I didn’t want to ruin my family’s trip and we had already slept in the beds for two nights. I guess my only recommendation is to fully inspect your room before you fall asleep. I didn’t expect the rooms to be unclean since the rest of the resort was spotless. If you get to choose, try not to stay in the second tower. It offers nothing in proximity wise. We had to use two different elevators to get to boats, walkway, and pool. Because of Covid (and I won’t fault the resort for this, of course) a lot was closed I think these things are a huge asset to this resort and without them, it lacks. Jake’s restaurant was amazing. The food (especially Mardi Gras offerings) were delicious and the scenery was beautiful. Tuk tuk market was a blessing in the morning. Everyone was friendly and breakfast burritos were delicious. The donuts were also good but very pricey hold your hunger for the donuts in the “pink box” out of the resort. The boats were seamless but the lines did get long so we walked most of the time, which surprised me. I didn’t think we’d want to walk even more with 2 kids but the walk is very short and pretty. It brings you to a private security entrance and have very short lines (if any at all)! The pool is beautiful but finding chairs is a pain. It seems like people avoid the sand area near the zero entry so check there. Once you’ve found a seat, the rest is perfect. I could relax in the seat under a canopy eating nachos and drinking an iced drink while watching my two small kids in the water. Overall, this is a beautiful resort and the express pass it offers is such a huge asset. I don’t think we would stay here again though because of the rooms and tower 2. I am definitely an express pass fanatic now though, so I will stick with the other premier hotels. Read less
