Westin Boston Waterfront

Boston, USA

The hotel

In the thriving Seaport District, this feature-packed hotel’s just steps from one of neighbourhood’s biggest draws, The Lawn on D. The outside comes in at The Westin Boston Waterfront too, with its lobby greeting you with natural stone and wood, a vertical garden, and leafy trees. Delve deeper and you’ll find 4 bars and restaurants, each sharing its own take on all-American dining: there’s the contemporary slant at Sauciety, the Irish-American pub twist at MJ O’Connor’s, American grill favourites at Birch Bar, and local light bites at City Bar. When you’ve had your fill of the food, the Westin’s Laugh Boston comedy club presents local and national acts. And, if Boston’s sightseeing highlights don’t eat up every second of your trip, there’s always the indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness studio, and group runs guided by a ‘RunWESTIN Concierge’.

This hotel Is next to convention center attached to Mj OConnor’s and a comedy club. The first room we were given was dirty, sock on floor hairs in bathroom. Hotel moved us at once however, disappointing from a Westin ! There is a Starbucks and bar in lobby and a huge screen playing sports, just not my kind of hotel.

The Westin seaport has been our go-to hotel for most of our trips to the Boston area, easy but pricey parking, friendly staff, and walking distance to all of the Seaport as well as Boston proper. We have stayed at the Westin at least 6 or 7 times. It consistently provides a clean spacious room, all be it not stylish but also not out dated. Think upscale business friendly. Lots of drink options in the building. Food options are a little underwhelming for the building and the area. The pool and hot tub ( when operational) are comfortable and nice. The workout room and changing rooms are up to date clean and comfortable. We have always been satisfied with our stay at the Westin Seaport, it's a solid choice if you're looking for slightly upscale business friendly hotel. Definitely consider staying here if you have business next door at the convention center. Although not extremely budget friendly it is consistently one of the most reasonable hotels in the seaport. Excellent hotel with all the amenities you would expect. It has a nice bar in the atrium where you can get together with others. Easy access to the conference center with an indoor bridge. Staff were nice and courteous. Beds are comfy and not to soft. Good to have a safe in the room. Coffee in the room is a plus. Rooms were pretty quiet. Overall… Read more

Long work day, long travel day. I just want to check in. I’m standing in the lobby, pounding music, no staff to check in. I wait in line. Eventually the other guests are checked in. The clerk takes my name and leaves…for SO LONG. He doesn’t come back. Nobody comes back. It’s been 30 minutes. Aaaaand it turns out they overbooked the hotel and they… Read more

Marriott grand poobah status doesn’t help, I guess. Absolutely flippin ridiculous. Read less

Room not clean. Ordinary services offered in most other hotels unavailable. We asked for a pot of hot water: not available ( they don’t do it); asked for kettle: not available. Asked for a Boeing paper. Not a Soms me at any cost; the restaurant facilities I. The hotel were poor and if poor quality.
