Le Meridien New York Central Park

New York, USA

The hotel

Both a modern masterpiece and a work of art, the Le Meridien New York Central Park has been styled to capture the glamorous era of 1920s New York. Expect leather Chesterfield sofas to lounge on and gorgeous lucky vintage shop finds, all of which lend character and atmosphere to this already iconic residence. From the luxury of your room – reminiscent of a cabin room on a seafaring liner – you’ll enjoy bird’s-eye views of Central Park as well as the surrounding city. In fact, you’re well placed to explore all the sights, including the world-famous Tiffany & Co, just a stone’s throw away. There are shops, bars and restaurants galore on your doorstep but the hotel’s The Roof is most definitely a place to see and be seen in. As well as boasting more of those gorgeous views we’ve been raving about, it has a very happening vibe plus the most exciting cocktails on the block. On the street level is Kingside Restaurant, another great place to relax, this time over the finest New American cuisine.

The front desk manager Mr. Louis, gave the best service a hotelier can provide! That's why the 10-star hotel score. The hotel itself needs renovation and does not justify the high price. Thank you Mr Louie

Stayed here as spent couple days apartment hunting as though live nearby wanted to avoid commuting in and out. Like most nyc hotels rooms are small as just bigger that bed though squeeze much in including large bathroom, mini fridge and armoire. Glass in shower makes hard to easily turn on water. Style is very much it’s own so either love or hate retro modern look. Though states Central Park in name do not expect see it from any room as most will be viewing another close by building. Place could use some tlc as carpeting was very worn down to the underfloor. The metal surfaces also could use a good polish. With covid slowdown would be good time to do it. When next door Parker opens maybe use that as chance to remodel. Service was good as when asked for ice came quickly. Let us check out later without argument. Read less

Honeymoon stay in a beautiful room with a terrace. Chris at the front desk was amazing . Even though they had limited staff, they took care of our needs. 5 mins from Central Park and near 24 hour grocery store.

We stayed a total of 2 nights. Beautiful NYC view.Interior decoration is very nice. Execellent service.Rooms are very clean. Price is fine. Heating is OK. But The United States now faces COVID-19,people took to the streets to demonstrate, people protested racial discrimination,I felt insecure,So I do not recommend going now

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and cleanly kept. The rooms were larger (for NYC) than we expected, very modern chic decor. Although all staff was wonderful, we have to praise Sonam who provided exceptional service. If you have any issues or questions about your stay, he's a great resource for any guests. The location is so close to Central Park and really everything else, most definately coming back! Read less
