Radio City Apartments

Midtown, New York

The hotel

You’ve seen them do it in the movies, but now you can experience New York living for yourself – walking below the bulb-lit canopy to enter your apartment block, a friendly nod from the front desk, before you hop into the elevator and ride up to your pied-a-terre. But this is New York living on a different scale – as Radio City Apartments is right in Midtown Manhattan, just moments from its namesake, Radio City Music Hall. It comes with all those home comforts you’d expect if you lived here, like complimentary WiFi and a kitchenette with a microwave, hob, fridge, and coffee maker – and those come as standard whether you’re picking a two bedroom pad or a studio. And the location’s the same for every apartment too – just steps from sights like Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Fifth Avenue.

The studio apartments are the best place I visited and or stayed in NYC. It's home away from home. The hotel is clean, the staff very pleasant, the kitchenette in the room is priceless and the pots, dishes, and utensils are the icing on the cake.

Perfect location to access the Theater District, Central Park, Rockefellar Plaza, Penn Station. Was able to walk everywhere and save loads in cab fare. Rooms were clean and well equipped, staff was helpful and friendly.

It's an okay property if you know what you're going into, but the pictures do not match the rooms. I booked the room with the kitchenette. Instead, I got a small dresser with some dishware on it, a fridge with some garbage still in it (expired soy sauce maybe?), a sponge, and some previously opened dish soap. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but… Read more
It's an okay property if you know what you're going into, but the pictures do not match the rooms. I booked the room with the kitchenette. Instead, I got a small dresser with some dishware on it, a fridge with some garbage still in it (expired soy sauce maybe?), a sponge, and some previously opened dish soap. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the best part of the room. There was no stove, only a minifridge (a full fridge was pictured), and no microwave. If you planned on staying here and getting groceries, call ahead to ensure your room has all of the amenities you expect as the pictures don't represent the truth. When trying to resolve all of these issues, they offered to move me into a larger room, however, when I went to work out the logistics, they told me that the room would still not match what I was offered. For similar pricing, better hotels are available for what I received. If you can get what they promised, stay here. Read less

The personnel are always ready to help. Convenient location. I enjoyed having a stove and being able to cook for myself. It is a safe place. The building is well taken care of and always clean. I would return here.

We loved our trip to the Radio City Apartments. You just can't beat the location, walking distance from Times Square. It wasn't too loud, our kids slept just fine. Saved a ton of money cooking several meals (especially breakfast) in the room. It was so nice to be in this location. Yes, the decor is a little outdated, but why cares? Very… Read more
