Mondrian Park Avenue

New York, USA

The hotel

Sleek, sophisticated and bold, it’s easy to see why the Mondrian Park Avenue was named in Conde Nast’s ‘Best 25 hotels in New York City’ in 2019. Overlooking Park Avenue, you can sit and watch the world go by in the rooftop lounge (drink in hand, of course). Wake up to the sights and sounds of the Big Apple from the comfort of your room, and enjoy a morning yoga class, run twice a week. After the sun sets, you can enjoy some Mediterranean-inspired food in the restaurant, or make your way to the hidden lounge bar to enjoy some live music or a DJ set. And when you’re ready to go out exploring, you’re just a few block from some of NYC’s top assets.

Lovely terrace with a quaint seating area - a private getaway when I didnt want to step out of hotel and have a proper cocktail. Felt extremely safe and clean during my stay and for the rate, location and quality the current rate is a rare find. Perfectly located going either uptown or downtown- I’d take an occasional exercise run to Central Park or quick citibike ride to Soho. Looking forward to coming back to eat at the hotel’s restaurant, Cleo, outdoor dining! Read less

I was not impressed by this hotel. I definitely wouldn't rate it a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very small and underwhelming. The pictures on the website make it look much better than it actually is. The staff was nice and friendly.

Always my go-to hotel whenever I'm in town only because I KNOW how spotless they keep their space - from disinfectants in every corner to their sanitizing wands! Rest assured they take their cleanliness to the next level.

My family of four stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was the nicest room and hotel that I’ve ever stayed in in NYC. I’ve stayed in all of the 5+ star hotels and the service, room and location surpassed them all. The room was large which is an anomaly in NYC. It fit our family of 4 comfortably. The service was impeccable. The location is ideal. I… Read more

had a seamless and touch free check-in with hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE. left a note on my booking that i was celebrating a belated birthday and came to a cute surprise in my room. i was able to get in touch with sales and ESTHER helped book a small table at their rooftop bar. its a very intimate cozy bar.
