The Dominick

Soho and Tribeca, New York

The hotel

Big by SoHo standards, the 46 story hotel offers views, a very happening bar scene, a spa and great dining, so posing the dilemma, to stay in or to go out? Three words distinguish the 391 rooms and suites. Space. Glass. And Fendi. An average of 500 square feet guestrooms offer a lot of space and all the rooms have floor to ceiling windows. They are also the first rooms in Manhattan to have been furnished by Fendi, better known for their handbags. Bar d’Eau, as the name suggests, is on the water. i.e. on the hotel’s 6000 square foot rooftop pool deck, boasting inspiring views of the city's skyline. If that's not enough, there is also The Spa which has indoor and outdoor relaxation lounges, luxury treatments and Manhattan's first traditional Turkish Hammam.

I really love the hotels that have a residential feel, and The Dominick is it. The physical environment is gorgeous and tastefully decorated. Our view of the city from our room was amazing. The room was comfortable, stylish, well-maintained and clean. It lacked nothing. Customer service is second to none - every interaction we had, from check-in forward, was warm, efficient, and generous. This applies to everyone we interacted with, but a special shout-out to Felix! He helped us out and helped us save money when it would have been easier to just let us make our own mistakes. I can't say enough good things about our experience at the Dominick Hotel! If you're staying in SoHo, this is the spot. Read less
